“So this was all your plan right? You ruined your own sister's life just because of your childish jealousy, I gave you all the love a father would give to his child and with what you just did, I'm ashamed to call you my daughter. So from today onwards, I Emmanuel Dollars thereby disown you, you are no longer a member of this family and as for you Kelvin, I'm disconnecting all ties I've with you, including your family and your company,” Mr Emmanuel said with an angry voice.

“Let me remind you old man! You know that if you carry out your threats, your company will go bankrupt," Kelvin said with a mocking face.

“I don’t give a damn about that, I only want both of you out of our lives, even at the expense of my company, I don’t give a damn", Mr Emmanuel said as he took Jennifer's hand and left the wedding venue.

This is actually the second time in Jennifer's life that she had seen her dad crying.

Why did Gloria have to do this? I loved her with all my heart,” she silently muttered.

Jennifer's heart is now broken into pieces, not because of what Kelvin did but because her own sister whom she loved so much betrayed her.

“No no, it's unbelievable, this must be a dream. I just need to sleep and wake up then everything will be gone.”

Jennifer was awoken by the sound of her alarm. She opened her eyes and everything that took place yesterday flashed back into her memory.

So it actually happened, It wasn't a dream.. Kelvin really left me and my sister betrayed me," she muttered with a teary eyes.

Jennifer's heart felt so heavy, she wasn't sure if she could bear it anymore.

She didn't realized when her dad walked inside.

I'm really sorry Jenny, it was all my fault, I should have allowed you to go after your dreams, I was so selfish to believe that you will be happy with that Kelvin,’ Mr Emmanuel said regretfully.

It’s Alright dad, it's in the past now and it's also too late to start regretting, besides I know that you only wanted the best for me," Jennifer said sadly.

Episode 2

Do you Mr Kelvin Mascot take Miss Jennifer Dollars to be your lawfully wedded wife? The priest asked him.

Jennifer looked at her soon-to-be husband and smiled but to her greatest suprise Kelvin didn’t show any signs of happiness, he looked at Gloria and smiled then he looked back to her and frowned.

Jennifer could detect that the look in his eyes is definitely not love but anger and hatred.

Kelvin pushed Jennifer and she fell off the stairs but Marilyn was there to catch her.

Tears circulated in Jennifer's eyes as she stared at him in shock.

“Did you in your widest imagination think that I'll marry such a low life like you when I have a precious Jewel beside me? You're nothing but a very big mistake and a hater, I'm so in love with Gloria and she'll be the one that I will get married to,’’ Kelvin said with an angry voice.

“What're you talking about? What do you mean by that Kelvin, today is our wedding day, we've both waited so many years for this day, Kelvin please don’t do this,’' Jennifer said as tears kept on rolling freely down her cheeks.

Kelvin, please don’t do this to me, she pleaded.

“Kelvin don’t do this to me, please don't leave me,' Jennifer cried out as she went closer to him and touched his hand.

But to her greatest surprise, Kelvin pulled her away from him like she was a plague.

“Can't you hear me? I don't love you, I'm getting married to Gloria. Sink that fact into your thick skull, ’ Kelvin yelled at her.

“Will you stop this stupid act of yours Kelvin, how could you do this to my daughter after everything? And as for you Gloria, how could you have the heart to backstab your sister in such a way?” Jenny's father said moving closer to where they stood.

“I've to say this father but I'm not sorry for my actions. It's not my fault that Kelvin loves me and I love him too. Actually father, I just got my revenge, you and Mommy gave so much love to Jennifer and paid less attention to me, even at Mom's sick bed, Jenny was the only one who got to see her before she died. I meant nothing to you so I want her to feel the pain I felt when you ignored me. Timeless Love (EP 1)

Episode one

Jennifer felt so happy, it is her wedding day.

She's getting married to Kelvin Mascot after four years of dating.

Everyone will be present, her father, her best friend (Marilyn), and most importantly her beloved sister (Gloria)

Jennifer was sitting in her room waiting patiently for her dad to walk her inside the hall.

I'm so nervous Gloria, what if something goes wrong? what if I slip while walking? what if the ring falls down??” she asked.

Shsshhh Jenny, everything will be alright, just relax yourself and take a deep breath, okay?’ Gloria said and Jennifer took a deep breath.

Yes you're right, everything will go perfectly as planned, Jennifer said.

But her heart kept on telling her a different thing. 

“Why do I feel weird, like something bad is going to happen today.

I need to discharge such thoughts from my head or else I'm going to mess up,” Jennifer muttered to herself.

Jenny, are you ok?” Marilyn asked.

“Oh yes, I'm  fine. Apart from the fact that I'm having a bad feeling that something will go wrong,” Jennifer replied

It’s fine Jenny, nothing will go wrong, she said.

Thanks so much Marilyn, I really don't know what I would done if you weren't here with me, Jennifer said.

"Don't say that Jenny. This is what friends do for each other alright, so get your a*s up from that bed, your dad is here already,” Marilyn said.

Alright, I'm coming, wow today is my wedding day, she said with a smile.

Jennifer took her father’s hand as we walked down the stairs leading to the hall.

“You look pretty my angel’, her father praises her.

“Thank you Dad,” Jennifer said blushing.

As they walked into the hall, all eyes were on her.

She can see her groom staring at her.

“But why is Gloria on the altar? Maybe she is trying to suprise me,” Jennifer thought to herself.

Jennifer stared at her soon-to-be husband's eyes as her dad gave him her hand.

Her soon-to-be husband gently took her hand and they faced the priest.

They had parting hugs and kisses, and they went to their car while Lucy followed behind Elvis still giving him those scary smile.

Elvis drove home unable to shake off the feeling he was having.

Lucy rushed inside and left the food basket for him to carry. He sighed tiredly and left the basket in the car.

He entered the living room and found about ten different ladies sitting on the couch.

Lucy was standing beside one of them with a very stern look.

I knew it! All her smiles were pretentious, Elvis murmured.

He ignored them and made to go his room but Lucy's voice stopped him in his tracks.

“Your mother said you need a wife so I brought these girl for you to choose from or you need more girls?” she queried and he looked at her.

“Report to her that I Elvis Jonathan would never accept anything from her definitely neither of these sluts. Tell her I said she’s has no say over my life and if she keeps these up, she’s going to cease being my mother” he fired at her and went to the kitchen angrily.

Lucy decided not to argue with him so she faced the ladies instead “Okay girls, our guy isn’t interested. If he eventually picks any, I’ll let you know” she saw them off and made to go to her room when she noticed the floor. She don’t know where he got the dirts from within a short period of time and there was a lot of them on the floor going from the kitchen to the hallway and to other bedrooms.

He emerged from one of the rooms, still very angry. “If you had better things to do or a house to clean, you wouldn’t follow her orders” he said and threw a roll of trash bags at me before going out.

His mother was the one that sent me a text last time, begging me to get her son a girlfriend, Lucy said within herself.

Episode 38

Right from my childhood everything that I had were taken from me, so I made a vow to myself that I will never let that happen ever again, Jackson said in a very low tune.

So he won’t give any guy chance to take Mirabel.

“I…. I…” I’m short of words.

I don’t know why I feel guilty every time I do something that Jackson doesn’t approve of.

It’s always like I owe him explanations, why?.

He turn to Paul and takes the box from him.

“Paul, you can go” he said.

Paul runs out as if his pants is on fire.

Jackson walks towards me, he stops right in front of me, our chest touching.

He leans down and whisper in my ear.

“I’ll let this slide, but I don’t want to see you hanging out with other men” he said.

Is that it? Is he not gonna yell at me?

He stands straight and look at me waiting for my reply.

I nod my head stiffly.

“And also, no more revealing clothes. I want you to burn all your clothes”

” Why?” I blunt out.

” Because I don’t like them” he said.

“Then what am I gonna wear?”

“Don’t worry I’ll fill your wardrobe” he said.

He hands the box to me.

” So about what I asked you this morning, are you going with me?” He asks.

Lizzy's words replay in my mind. I have to get close to him and win his trust, before I can know what his secrets are.

“Yes, I will.. I said.

He smiles.

“Good. I swear you’re not gonna regret this”

Well I hope so.

“Go and get changed into the dress in the box” he said.

My eyes grows wide.

“You bought me a new dress?”

He nod. He hands me a small bag, I open it and saw silver shoes.

“Thanks. Then I’ll go get changed now” I said and head upstairs.

I don’t think I’ll have time to bath, I just wash my face and change into the dress straight away.

I sit on my dresser and apply a little red lipstick on my lips. I make my eyebrows a little darker and apply mascara on my eyelashes.

That’s all I know how to do.

I wore the silver pump. Then I look at myself up in the mirror.

“Lucy, do you know Elvis loves drawing?” Pat asked.

Her eyes perked up “Really?”

Elvis gave Pat a cold look and dug into his food angrily.

“So he can draw very well?” Lucy asked.

“He’s super good at it” Pat said.

“Wow”

“Lucy, I know Elvis has been giving you trouble lately but can you please bear with him for our sakes? He can be such a pin in the ass at times”.

“OMG Jane!” Lucy faked surprise “How do you know?”

“See Pat? I told you he’ll trouble her” Jane turned to her husband.

Pat shared a glance with Elvis who opened his mouth to object.

Lucy shot him a look that shut him up instantly but he mumbled something under his breath about the injustice of life.

“If the situation is intense, call me” jane punched her numbers in Lucy's phone.

She nodded understandingly and gave Elvis a mischievous look which he returned with a glare.

If he’s looking at me this way, she wonder what he’ll do when he sees what she have prepared for him at home.

We were having the pinic quietly until Pat and Jane opened their mouth to ruin everything. First Pat told her I can draw, that’s too personal for her to know, Elvis silently said to himself.

He was eating his food angrily and glanced up when he heard Jane saying those things to Lucy.

What’s Jane saying? It’s Lucy that’s giving me trouble not the other way round, he murmured.

“Sir, do you want more?” Lucy asked with smiles in attempt to give him another plate of food.

“No” he replied quickly and looked at her suspiciously, what’s she up to this time? She has never smiled at me, why’s she smiling now?

“Awwwn… she’s so cute” Jane cooed to her husband.

Jane found himself scared of her suspicious smile, he think it’s better if she frowns instead.

“Um guys…. I think it’s going to rain let’s head home” he looked at the clouds which was darkening the sky.

” Let’s not rush into anything for now, buddy” I said.

“No problem, I can wait” he said.

I turn to him, he winks at me.

I shake my head.

“Anyway, I have lots of work to do, I’ll call you later” I said.

I can’t let him know I’m having dinner with Jackson, right?.

“Okay. I’ll wait to hear your voice later” he said..

I open the door and step out, I wave him good bye until his car is out of sight.

I hurried inside the compound and head towards the main door. I can quickly get ready before Jackson gets back from the office.

I step into the living room and head upstairs, but a voice stops me.

“Did you have fun?” Mirabel?.

I turn around slowly, like how it’s done in the movies. Lol.

I saw Jackson standing with his hands tucked in his pockets, he’s glaring daggers at me, well my bare shoulder to be precise.

Paul is standing next to him, shaking in fear.

Paul is holding a small box in his hands. Hmm. I wonder what’s inside the box.

I laugh nervously.

“Jackson, you’re home early” I said.

He narrows his eyes.

“Where are you coming from?” He asked.

Uh-oh. I’m not sure he’s gonna let this go.

” Where are you coming from?” he asked again.

I hesitate, and bites my lips. 

His eyes flick to my lips and lingers there for a minute, he should be the one biting those lips

He shake the thought from his head.

“I went out to have lunch” I said.

His eyes move to my bare shoulders, her tan skin glittering.

Then he realized that other guys must have been staring at her like he's doing right now.

“You went out dressed like this?” he asked through gritt teeth.
