Episode 11
She took off her glasses.
Elvis opened his mouth to talk but nothing came out.
“Hi Sir, I forgot to add water and an apple juice to your lunch” she said and passed a paper bag to me. “Have a nice day and by the way, the jewelry is beautiful.” She stood.
Okay….this is getting out of hand. He turned to give her a piece of his mind but she had already left.
He went back to work and refused to talk to anybody. When he entered his office, the lunch bag wasn’t there anymore thanks to Pat, he said in his mind.
Lucy didn’t want to visit his company since they aren’t close so she did the only thing she could think of which is placing an order and prayed either him or Pat would come out to deliver the order instead.
Luck shone on her when she saw him enter the coffee shop. She got down to business and gave him the water and apple drink she forgot to add to his lunch bag.
She strolled the environment before going home.
She watched movies till night fall. It was 9pm and he wasn’t back from work.
At last, he opened the front door around 10pm. Lucy knows he’s still angry at her and she don’t see why he has to be angry. She only wanted to give him water and his apple drink. Can’t she get a thank you for that??
“Welcome” she said quickly, not giving him a chance to talk ” I was waiting for you. Go to the kitchen and heat up your food, it’s on the cabinet and when you’re through, close the shutters, switch off the lights, lock the doors and retire to your room. Good night” she said and went to her room and soaked herself in a hot tub.

Pat's Apartment
“Did I tell you Jane?” Pat asked his wife as they sat across each other eating.
“Tell me what?” She replied with a mouthful.
” Elvis has a maid” he grinned.
“Tell me another joke” she said in a surprised manner.
“Have I ever lied to you Jane?” Pat put a hand over his chest.
“Yes” she replied.
“When?”
“Today, when I called at lunch, you told me you were eating the food I prepared for you but you were eating another instead” she said.
Unbelievable….why did you give me a witch as wife??
“How…di….did y-you know?” Pat stuttered.
“Call it a woman’s sixth sense, especially a wife’s”
“Well believe me now, Elvis has a maid and it was her food I was eating when you called” I felt pleased with myself to be the first telling her.
“Can we visit this weekend?” Her eyes lit up.
“Don’t tell me you want to matchmake them.” he asked.
“No, I’m going to warn her to stay away from Elvis so he doesn’t hurt her and do exactly as he says. I hope she lives through till I get there” she said.
